Given Oaklins’ sustained growth, further expansion of the team is imperative. On behalf of Oaklins, we are currently looking for a part-time M&A employee for its small cap team in Amsterdam. To support this team in the day-to-day work of challenging M&A deals, a financial
or business background is required. This role offers the flexibility to balance work and life as you wish. You will receive on-the-job training and a great benefit package.
You would be the linchpin of the team, and your responsibilities include
Preparing M&A deals by coordinating meetings and presentations, and setting up and maintaining digital environments (e.g. datarooms) for M&A deals
Preparing documents for meetings
Developing frameworks for pitches and proposals, information memoranda and longlists
Defining appropriate legal structures
Preparing reports in Excel
Obtaining documentation, such as reports, articles, and images for target industries
Identifying potential buyers and securing key information
Do you qualify for the job? Is this you?
Master’s degree in business economics, law, finance, or related field
At least 4 years of relevant work experience
Battle-tested written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English
Strong analytical skills
Keen eye for detail and affinity with numbers
Independent and flexible
Track record of success in working in corporate setting and meeting tight deadlines
Completely comfortable with MS Office applications
Available 16 to 20 hours per week, spread over 3 to 4 days
