Orchard Finance is looking for a Corporate Finance Consultant, a true professional in M&A.
Orchard Finance Consultants is an independent European Consultancy firm that focuses on
Finance and Treasury, with a strong position as financial advisor to major Dutch companies. Due to Orchard's strong growth, we are looking to add bench strength to the Corporate Finance / Debt Advisory team. In recent years, in addition to its large corporate practice, Orchard's practice for mid-sized corporate companies was expanded with debt advisory and corporate finance advice. Under this umbrella, mergers and acquisitions are supervised and valuation and analyses carried out, while the firm provides advice on financing.
On behalf of Orchard, we are looking for a solid, and driven, spider in the web, who finds a
challenge in advising wonderful (family-owned) companies that operate nationally and
internationally. Candidates would have the ambition to further develop the firm's practice and support the implementation of various projects. The position offers a high degree of independence, while you'd also act as a point of contact for clients as well as (junior) Consultants and Analysts.

What you'll be doing:
Advising and assisting companies with valuations, mergers and acquisitions, and financing
Quarterbacking (part of) the consultancy process as member of a highly professional team
Drafting analyses, financial models, and information memoranda, and conducting negotiations as needed, up to and including transaction documentation.
Advising on financial alternatives and structuring these
Actively contributing to further development and growth of the M&A practice and the team’s success
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics, Finance, or other relevant field
Two (2) to five (5) years of experience in Corporate Finance or Banking
Fluency in Dutch and English on a professional level
Strong analytical skills with track record of success in financial modeling and presenting structured outcomes
Entrepreneurial spirit and commercial insight
Eager and committed to share knowledge and develop team members
Keen on providing quality advice to clients
Demonstrated success working within compact project teams
