The head of Corporate Development (M&A) faces the challenge, and the opportunity, of leading one of the most established fintech companies through external growth strategies, deal shaping and acquisition targets with the objective of reaching an even more competitive market position and its finest potential.
As the next Head of Corporate Development (M&A):
Originating, negotiating and executing growth plans
Unleash the potential of external growth operations
Deal origination and due diligence process
Lead the acquisition processes and manage integration of acquired companies
Deal origination and transaction execution
Analysing competitive market landscapes
Finding acquisitions targets
Performing valuations and due diligence process
Assess strategic fit
You have:
Have 8+ years of experience in Fintech advisory and M&A transactional experience from a top-tier consultancy firm, corporate development position or investment bank
Successful performance history in deal structuring and execution
Deep understanding of M&A strategic and financial analyses
Have developed your own methodological way of working
Excellent communication skills and ability to influence stakeholders, managing board and other decision makers.
Insights of financial institutions and banking regulations
Strong corporate valuation capabilities
Enthusiasm for taking new responsibilities and explore other areas outside your area of expertise
Excellent English skills, both written and oral
Willingness to travel
