As the next Head of M&A:
You will lead the Finance Team through M&A, finance and possible partnership opportunities.
You will create a startup within a startup providing guidance and strategic leadership. You will work directly with the CFO and CEO. Among others, you will be:
Leading M&A transactions and perform cross-functional diligence with teams internal to the company and with external advisors;
Sourcing partnership opportunities;
Assisting in investment opportunities through due diligence and stakeholders communication;
Managing the financing process and structure the funding to foster acquisitions, growth programs and other initiatives;
Analysing deals, negotiations and preparing post-closing forecasting. Providing draft proposals, formal letters and facilitate communication between parties and gathering required documents and legal requirements;
Mentoring key executives to smoothen the integration process and supporting heads of functions;
Preparing in collaboration with functional managers the budgeting and forecasting, including longer-run oriented business plans;
Lead a team of associates, analysts and M&A support team.
You have:
Considerable amount of expertise in direct M&A deal shaping, transition and negotiations;
Have experience in one of the top investment banking, Private Equity, Venture Capital firms for more than 7 years;
Experience in leveraged finance and in financial strategic instruments;
Keep up with fast-paced tech environments, be part of a startup-like environment and coordinate with all departments;
Experience with on-demand marketplaces is highly valuable, either through work experience or by consulting companies working in this sector;
Be able to communicate with commercial, operational and product discussions;
Have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
