Due to Oaklins’ continuous growth, we are, on behalf of Oaklins, looking for people to join the small-cap and mid-cap M&A teams in the Amsterdam office. With Oaklins’ international focus, you will be working across different sectors in cross-border deal teams. We are looking for professionals who are motivated, eager to learn, and passionate about M&A transactions.

What you'll be doing

As a key member of our teams, you will be accountable for adding value by:

  • Executing complex international M&A transactions

  • Engaging with interesting clients from all sectors and relying on your experience, serving as the primary contact for clients

  • Developing detailed and reliable financial models and valuation analyses

  • Overseeing and conducting daily meetings and reviews, presenting metrics, and documenting follow-up with businesses

  • Managing the team’s various activities as a project leader

  • Training and mentoring analysts, while having opportunities for personal growth by attending internal and external training programs

  • Working with ambitious and motivated colleagues in deal teams of three to five people

Who you are

  • Master’s degree in Business Economics or related program, with track record of academic excellence

  • At least three (3) years of M&A and/or Corporate Finance experience, for instance at an investment bank, Big Four audit firm or reputable boutique

  • Excellent Dutch and English communication skills, both written and verbal. Dutch is mandatory.

  • Strong technical skills (e.g., financial analysis, modeling, and report writing)

  • Fully comfortable with MS Office applications and virtual meeting technology

  • Confident and approachable

  • Self-starter with entrepreneurial spirit and outstanding work ethic

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • Keen eye for detail
