The opportunity:
Next to initiating and facilitating startups, our client is launching several funds that will look into investing in Hi-tech startups around areas like AI, Digital Health, Fintech etcetera.

Areas of responsibility
You will be leading the Corporate Development Department and further develop the team.
This includes:
Initiate and identify investment proposals and manage the expansion;
Set the strategic direction for corporate financing and investment vehicles of the company’s investment funds;
Explore new geographic opportunities for expansion;
Analyse potential investment opportunities;
Prepare project proposals and financial investment cases to be presented to top management and board of directors for potential transactions;
Develop documents, information memoranda and terms sheets necessary for investment decisions;
Manage the (financial part of) deal transactions with support of internal departments and third party advisors during due diligence process and negotiations;
Expand relationships with relevant players in the (deal) market including investment funds, funds of funds, family offices and public institutional investors.
You have:
Minimum 8 years of experience of working for investment banks, asset management, private equities of venture capital firms;
A proven track record of in corporate development, fundraising, deal structuring and negotiation;
Independent, passionate, self motivated and proactive approach towards opportunities and potential investments;
Excellent quantitative and qualitative skills;
Problem-solving skills and interdisciplinary approach to organizational meetings whether it is with functional managers or stakeholders;
Ability of communicating across all organisational levels, functions and multicultural environment.
