Within this context, LION's broader compliance and advisory practice offers room for an experienced Compliance Specialist with the skills to strengthen the compilation and advisory practice in line with the latest trends and developments.
The range of tasks includes, among others:
To act as a sparring partner for colleagues and clients in the financial and tax fields;
Preparing and discussing specific analysis, monthly or quarterly reports and annual accounts.
Reviewing and correctly taking care of annual accounts and tax returns for VpB, OB and IB;
Managing and developing junior employees;
Monitoring, improving and developing added value products, such as the implementation and monitoring of appropriate reporting tool(s) in order to have the right impact on the decision making of selected customers;
Maintaining contact with the customers in the portfolio;
Preparing and discussing specific analysis, monthly or quarterly reports and annual accounts.

What is LION looking for?
A passionate financial professional, with a broad interest in the developments within the financial field. You are able to translate the latest developments into our practice;
You are now (possibly) working at one of the 'big five' or qualitatively comparable firms;
Completed academic or HBO education in Accountancy, Business Economics or similar. You have extensive experience with accounting programs and report generators.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of compliance, compilation and declaration practice;
An independent attitude, in which you can, if necessary, be supported by other LIONs. You are eager to learn and have the ambition to make every assignment a success;
You like to guide and train other colleagues where necessary. Collegiality is a matter of course for you.
